Your wedding day is quickly approaching and you have enough on your plate to worry about. You have attended to every detail of your wedding to ensure that your day is perfect. Your dress is ready, the cake is on its way and reception area looks stunning. You have invited all of your closest family and friends, and you hope that every body will have a wonderful time. You have probably heard of nightmare receptions–where someone drinks a little too much alcohol or begins to cause problems. You may have even seen the movie “The Wedding Crashers” and you hope that nothing like that would ever happen at your wedding.

Unfortunately, there are real people who are wedding crashers. This is just one more thing that you have to think about on the day of your big event. While most weddings go off without a hitch, there are those that run in the real problems with wedding crashers. Wedding crashers are people that attend weddings and most of the time and up causing problems. Sometimes they are people that you know, and others they are complete strangers that to show up. The only thing that you can really do about wedding crashers is to be prepared for the situation.

If wedding crashers do show up at your wedding at least you can hope that they are they are to have a good time. This type of wedding crasher is not there to ruin your wedding– they can actually liven up your reception. These are the people that you may or may not know that show up for the food, alcohol and entertainment. Most of the time, these are lighthearted people who have a great time out on the dance floor and help make your wedding a memorable event.

The wedding crashers that you hope do not show up at your wedding are the ones that come with the intent of causing problems. Some can certainly be people you know, such as ex-girlfriends, ex-husbands, or discontent family members, but they can also be complete strangers to you. They may be somebody that know one of your guests and are there to pull pranks, get drunk and cause general mayhem. If your wedding has one of these types of wedding crashers, you may want to have somebody that can firmly ask these people to leave the premises. If it gets too out of hand, you may have to call security to remove these wedding crashers.

If a stranger turns up at your wedding, whether they are there to cause problems are not. You may not even realize that they are there and tell problem starts. This is because many times, large weddings have all sorts of people and you may think that they are from your fiancé side of the family. You do need to make sure that your gifts and gift cards, and any money that is given to you during the reception is safe. Appoint someone that you trust to watch over the gift table during your reception. Wedding crashers have been known to steal cards and gifts straight from a wedding reception.
